Why did we create a retirement plan

Freelancers and gig workers often face financial instability, fluctuating income, and a lack of access to traditional retirement benefits. Many existing retirement solutions are complex, rigid, and not tailored to the needs of this demographic. Our challenge was to design a retirement plan that was flexible, intuitive, and accessible—one that could adapt to the diverse financial realities of our users. Lastly, Users asked for it

Information architecture

It was a challenge at first but I successfully deconstructed the concept and formulated an Information Architecture for its implementation.

Evaluation

Following Earna’s successful launch, the platform quickly gained good traction among gig workers and freelancers. But the excitement didn’t stop there. As Earna’s user base is growing, we are beginning to see a surge of interest from enterprises to provide employees with the flexibility of selecting their insurance as opposed to the traditional way.

The retirement plan had a successful launch and campaign, bringing on board the first 5k users to the platform in 5 months.
